Estell Johnson is recovering very well from open heart surgery.
He was scheduled for 3 by-passes but only required two once the surgery began. Please continue to thank God for his bountiful
mercy and remember Estell for both the recovery from major
surgery and the recent loss of his wife.
Vicki Gray - suspicious growth, had x-ray studies this morning, through answered prayers the x-rays indicate that
the growths are negative.
I was crossing Hathaway Bridge on my way to
work. I could see a large dark area to my left, but had no idea it contained a waterspout. Thank God for His protection. Phil
Update: Good news regarding Julie York. We received the results today of the PET scan and it showed no ther cancers in her body.
The Dr. is confident that he can remove it all with surgery. Praise God!

Alvin (Rudy) Bates - Colon Cancer with involvement to the liver. Please ask God to direct the doctors in their work.
We have a request for prayer from Orgretta Wells. She is having issues at work. She is having a problem with her boss. He said she 'had to' work Sabbath. She does not want to dishonor the Sabbath, but she cannot stay at that job if she does not work on Sabbath. Let us pray earnestly for this child of God that she finds peace, comfort, and a workplace she can work 5 days a week without the hassles from satan. Her # 890-7912, call her and encourage her. |

We have received a call from Cynthia White. She is having a really difficult time with her husband. She really needs our earnest prayers. Please pray to the Lord for her to have Faith in Him, Guidance by Him, and the Strength from Him, to deal with the issues at hand.

We serve an awesome God. When I asked for prayers for my granddaughter she could not keep anything down and was
throwing up blood. But because of all of yours and our prayers
she got much better this morning and ate food and kept it down. By this afternoon she had gotten so much better that the doctors released her and let her go home. I had told her this morning that Jesus was right there beside her and would take care of her. They are still going to do some follow up tests but she is doing great. I had prayed that God would perform a miracle and heal her overnight and show my daughter and son-in-law His power. Thanks so much for your prayers and allowing me to be a part of the family of God along with you.

Rachael Pitts - Kidney failure along with other conditions. Please pray that God reverses these conditions and that she may soon be back in church.
A baby girl was born at 25 weeks. That is too early. Her family is asking for prayer that she make it without problems.
One of our church family members in requesting special prayer for her father, Bob McNary in Oregon. He is experiencing leg pain and a bulging disc in his back and is scheduled for back surgery on 2/17/09. It is hard to have a loved one having health problems and especially hard to not be close by. Please ask Our Father to comfort this family and lay His will out for their lives. Ask Our Father to strengthen and heal Mr. McNary, if it is His wll.

I told you this is going to be a Powerful Week. A week of
Fasting and Prayer. Well, I got a message from someone
I have been praying for. Last week, while at work at the
Nursing Home, a friend was visiting a resident who is on
Hospice. He was emotional and feeling overwhelmed. He
could not understand why God was laying so much on him? I spoke to him for a few minutes about the Bible tells us that the Lord will not put more on us than we can handle. That it seems like alot, but God knew he could handle it. I prayed for him and his wife to feel some relief of the ever present stresses they were under. He did it! He answered my prayers. The gentleman came bouncing up to me today, so excited. He said he will never forget the words of comfort I said to him. He
left the nursing home that day, went home, the phone rang. It was a man wanting to rent one of their houses with a contract for the next 3 to 5 years. Then, since God works in a Big way, he got a call the next day, and a man wanted to rent their 2nd house. That lifted two big stressors off this couple. They have a new appreciation for Prayer. God is Good, all the Time. Your Sister in Christ, Ty I believe it lifts us to tell each other how and when Prayers are answered.

Please pray for Julie York. She has been diagnosed with oral cancer. She will be scheduled for surgery as soon as possible to remove the quarter sized area in the bottom of her mouth, under her tongue, and it will be filled with tissue taken from her leg. There is a chance that the lymph nodes in her neck will have to be removed as well. Please pray for her and her husband Kevin.
Chris Morrow has a lot of pressure and decisions to be made. He needs divine guidance more that anything else in his life at this time.
Mark Dent was sick with a cold over Thanksgiving and it has turned into pneumonia. He is disabled due to a leg injury several years ago. He has cirrhosis of the liver and Hepatitis C. Mark refuses to go to the hospital, doesn't want to eat or drink. I'm asking all of you, my friends and family to pray for Mark.
Paul Fath has stage 4 Cancer. Please pray for healing and that he finds the Lord in the midst of this trial.

Hunter is the grandson of Marilyn Gray's good friend. He is 12 years old and was born with one kidney; now his other kidney has failed. Please pass on to your prayer groups. He is a very nice boy and from a very nice Christian family

Lois Scott is in bad health and has recently lost her husband.
Louise Youngblood needs our prayers for healing.
A member of our church is not able to drive anymore. He lives in Apalchicola. That is about 125 miles round trip each week. I talked to him last week about coming to Port St Joe. He just cannot drive this far. Please pray for this soul, Freddie Fagan, a member of our church, that the Lord will work something out for him.

Juanita Power continues the difficulties of treatment for cancer, please pray that God will either do a miracle healing or direct the doctors in their efforts.

Mike Herring, Gwen Self's nephew, is in the hospital with lung and liver cancer. He is 46 years old, married, no children. Pray for God's will to be done in Mike's life and give peace and comfort to His family.

Brianna Tyree's husband, Steve, is in need of a kidney transplant. Pray that God's will be done in his life, and to give Brianna the assurance that God will hold her up in His arms as she goes through this difficult time.
I would like to request that you prayer warriors pray for Ed Trott who has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. He and his wife, Pat, attend the New Bern, NC SDA Church. They started attending church last summer during the Daniel Seminar. Although they have not been baptised (yet!), they are faithful attendees and participate in church activities.
Jessie Clark called requesting prayer for her grandson. He and friends were leaving Crestview last night when their car was hit by on oncoming car going at a high speed. Jessie didn't have all the details last night, but she knows that prayers are needed for all involved!
Linda Kuciauskas' mother is experiencing severe pain in her left arm. She asked that if it is God's will she might find relief and that the doctors will soon find the cause.
